The present invention relates to a connector for a cable tray connection, comprising a reinforcing part in which a reinforcing hole is formed and both surfaces of which are round and have an overall arced shape, the length of an arc of one surface being smaller than the length of an arc of the other surface; and a pair of connecting parts which have an overall elbow shape by extending toward both side surfaces of the reinforcing part at which U-shaped vertical and horizontal surfaces are formed and a plurality of coupling holes are formed. The connecting parts are connected to the end portions of a pair of cable trays having different heights, respectively, and the reinforcing part may contact both of the end portions of the cable trays. The present invention does not require separate inside and outside types of connections as is the case in a typical vertical elbow-type connector, as the connection of the present invention may used in inside- and outside-type connections due to the capability thereof to rotate 180 degrees, and thus has high compatibility and universal usability regardless of the width of the cable tray. Also, warping due to shocks may be prevented when the connector is coupled to the cable tray as the reinforcing part closely contacting the cable tray having a greater thickness provides additional support, instead of being supported only by the strength of a reinforcing part such as a bolt. Also, the reinforcing part of the present invention is arc-shaped and thus has no corners, such that damage to the cable is prevented during the installation of a cable. |
