A rotating shaft supporting structure for an electric supercharger, comprising: a rotating shaft to which a compressor wheel which is a wheel on the supercharging side is attached; an electric motor which is provided with a motor rotor affixed to the rotating shaft and is also provided with a stator for applying a rotational force to the motor rotor; and a bearing section provided on the side of the motor rotor which faces the compressor wheel and supporting the rotating shaft. A damper device for absorbing the vibration of the rotating shaft is provided on a shaft end section which is located on the opposite side of the motor rotor from the compressor wheel.
