Disclosed is a stain-resistant coating composition capable of forming a coating film with excellent retention of corrosion resistance and excellent stain resistance such as resistance to rainwater, and in particular a stain-resistant coating composition suitable to forming topcoat coating films on coated metal plates with a medium or lower gloss. The disclosed coating composition contains a specific organosilicate and/or a condensate component thereof and a nonionic surfactant component in addition to a resin binder, which contains a polyester resin component containing a specific hydroxyl group-containing polyester resin and which contains a cross-linking agent component which is a melamine resin and/or a polyisocyanate compound.
