PURPOSE: An air blocking device for a carbonization chamber of a coke oven is provided to prevent damage to inner bricks of a carbonization chamber caused by a temperature difference. CONSTITUTION: An air blocking device for a carbonization chamber of a coke oven comprises a pipe(10), spray holes, and an air supply unit. The pipe is formed at the entrance of a carbonization chamber, extending to the inside of a coke oven. The spray holes are formed at regular intervals along the pipe and spray air to the entrance of the carbonization chamber. The air supply unit is connected to the pipe and provides compressed air.
