NOVEL DUGANELLA STRAINS ISOLATED FROM RHIZOSPHERE OF WILD AND CULTIVATED OLIVE TREES AND USE THEREOF IN THE PRODUCTION OF VIOLACEIN

The invention relates to bacterial strains of Duganella spp., obtained from the rhizosphere of wild and cultivated olive trees. Preferably, the strains are CECT 7779, CECT 7780 and CECT 7781, and more preferable still, the bacterial strain is CECT 7780. In addition, the invention relates to combinations thereof with other microorganisms and to compositions comprising the aforementioned products, as well as to a method for the production of violacein and to the violacein produced for biotechnological and agronomic use.
