WAVE POWER GENERATION APPARATUS

PURPOSE: A wave power generator is provided to increase vertical forces acting on a floating unit by forming a plurality of grooves on an outer surface of the floating unit and increasing friction forces of waves. CONSTITUTION: A wave power generator comprises a screw bar(101), a floating unit(103) and a fixing unit(120). One end of the screw bar is inserted under the sea. An upper part of the floating unit is inclined widely and a lower part is inclined narrowly. A plurality of grooves(103b) is formed on an outer surface of the floating unit. When the floating unit moves above and below along the screw bar by waves and the floating unit is rotated about the screw bar. The screw bar is fixed to under the sea, moves back and forth and above and below to offset impact energy. The fixing unit is connected to the screw bar with a joint. A cutter(155) inserted into the floating unit. When the floating unit moves above and below, the cutter removes foreign materials on the screw bar.
