PURPOSE: A method for predicting the crash of surrounding cars using the RSSI(received signal strength indication) is provided to detect the cars in blind spots, and to separately display the danger degree, the driving direction, and the driving speed of the cars. CONSTITUTION: A method for predicting the crash of surrounding cars using the RSSI(received signal strength indication) comprises the following steps: receiving a wireless signal from a surrounding car, and calculating the distance with a sending unit(100) of the wireless signal by the strength of the signal; estimating the location of the surrounding car using the obtained distance between the sending place of the wireless signal and a receiving unit(200) for the wireless signal; estimating the driving speed and the driving direction of the surrounding car by the location of the surrounding car; and calculating the nearing possibility and the brake spare distance with the surrounding car capable of colliding. |
