<p>The objective of the present invention is to provide a display apparatus having a simple structure, and wherein an organic layer with a uniform film-thickness can be formed at areas surrounded by a partition wall. The display apparatus comprises: a base; a partition wall for defining pre-determined partitions on the base; and a plurality of organic electroluminescence elements that are formed within each of the partitions defined by the partition wall. Each of the plurality of organic electroluminescence elements comprises at least one first-electrode layer, at least one organic layer, and at least one second-electrode layer laminated in this order from the base side. The partition wall has end sections thereof in contact with the upper side of the first-electrode, and the first-electrode has an indentation, which is depressed to the base side from the interface between the end sections of the partition wall and the first-electrode, at portions other than portions covered by the end sections of the partition wall, and at the circumferential edge sections thereof, when viewed from one of the thickness directions of the base.</p> |
