MADE-TO-MEASURE ORTHOSIS FOR COMPRESSION/CONTAINMENT, FOR REINFORCING THE MUSCULO-APONEUROTIC PUMP OF THE CALF

PURPOSE: A compression/sealing type made-to-measure orthosis for strengthening the radical aponeurotic pump of the calf is provided to apply the orthosis for venous insufficiency in the lower limb of a patient. CONSTITUTION: A compression/sealing type made-to-measure orthosis for strengthening the radical aponeurotic pump of the calf includes an elastic compressing distal unit(14) and a proximal unit(16). The elastic compressing distal unit surrounds the area from the ankles of a user to the portion where the Achilles tendon and the calf muscles meet. The elastic compressing distal unit is obtained by weaving knit yarns and weft thread yarns, for generating the elastic restoring force toward the columnar direction when the compressing distal unit is applied to the specification position on the lower limb. The proximal unit is extended from the compressing distal unit, and surrounds the circumference of the calf on the lower side of the tibial tuberosity.
