PURPOSE: An image object detecting apparatus and a method thereof through image process are provided to accurately recognize various kinds of person faces on one screen by applying an image processing and computer vision technique. CONSTITUTION: A black/white image converting block(2000) converts a color image into black/white image. A face detecting block(4000) detects a face from the black/white image. A color-based image output block(6000) combines determined person area with an image of a camera.
