摘要 PURPOSE: An underground environment sensing device and a method thereof are provided to continuously measure and monitor an underground environment, thereby rapidly detecting an earthquake by analyzing underground environment data. CONSTITUTION: A borehole type seismic sensor(2) is installed on the lower inner part of a borehole. An underground environment measurement part(20) is combined on the borehole type seismic sensor for determining normality of underground environment data. The underground environment measurement part transmits a malfunction signal to a local management terminal when the underground environment data is in an abnormal state. The underground environment measurement part transmits most robust underground environment data to the local management terminal when the underground environment data is a normal state. A remote management terminal(40) manages and confirms the underground environment data by receiving the data stored in the local management terminal.
