<p>A wavelength-converting resin composition for a solar cell, which comprises a fluorescent substance having a maximum absorption wavelength of ?max (nm) in absorbance spectra thereof, resin particles and a dispersion medium resin, wherein the value of A1(?) represented by formula (1) is 3.0×10-4 (O.D./µm) or less at the maximum absorption wavelength of ?max (nm) (wherein I(?) represents the intensity of transmitted light which is obtained when incident light having a light intensity of I0(?) is incident to a resin film produced from the resin composition and having a thickness of t (µm); and Iref(?) represents the intensity of transmitted light which is obtained when the light is incident to a reference resin film produced from a reference resin composition having the same composition as that of the resin composition except the fluorescent substance and the resin particles and having a thickness of tref (µm).
