PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of vaterite-type calcium carbonate and a vaterite-type calcium carbonate manufactured by using the method are provided to obtain vaterite-type calcium carbonate by adjusting concentration of SDS(sodium dodecyl sulfate) which is a surfactant of calcium compound solution and carbonate compound solution. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of vaterite-type calcium carbonate comprises next steps: adding SDS(sodium dodecyl sulfate) with less than a critical micelle concentration to the carbonate compound solution as a surfactant; and manufacturing a mixed solution; and manufacturing calcium carbonate by mixing calcium compound solution with the mixed solution. The calcium compound is calcium chloride dihydrate(CaCl2 2H2O), calcium chloride (CaCl2), calcium oxide (CaO), calcium hydroxide (Ca(OH)2), or a mixture thereof. The carbonate compound is sodium carbonate (Na2CO3), sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3), and carbon dioxide(CO2), or a mixture thereof. The SDS (sodium dodecyl sulfate) is added in a density range less than 0.88 mM. |
