<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spheroidal graphite cast iron article having a strength and an extension as the same grade as the conventional material and further, excellent wear resistance compared with the conventional material. <P>SOLUTION: The spheroidal graphite cast iron article is manufactured which has the composition composed of, by mass, 3.0-4.0% C, 1.8-3.0% Si, 0.2-1.2% Mn, 0.2-1.3% Cu, 0.05-1.0% Nb, 0.05-0.5% Mo, 0.05-1.5% V, 0.02-0.06% Mg and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities. By this manufacture, the spheroidal graphite cast iron article is obtained with the excellent wear resistance compared with the conventional material, while holding ≥700 MPa tensile strength and ≥5% elongation-ratio.
