<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating cooker capable of raising temperature when a cooking object is introduced. <P>SOLUTION: An induction heating cooker is provided with a top plate 2 on which a pan 1 is placed, an infrared sensor 5 for detecting an infrared ray radiated from the bottom of the pan 1, a temperature detection part 10 for detecting a temperature of the bottom of the pan 1, an operation part 7 for setting cooking conditions, a control part 9 for controlling the output to an induction heating coil 3, and a cooking object introduction detection part 6 for detecting introduction of the cooking object into the pan 1. The operation part 7 has a temperature setting part 8 capable of setting a preset temperature for low temperature cooking. When low temperature cooking is selected by the temperature setting part 8 and introduction of a cooking object is detected by the cooking object introduction detection part 6, the control unit 9 applies the heating output that reaches the adjusted temperature within a period of time when proliferation of germs can be reduced and under duty control that can cause convection of water in the pan 1, to the induction heating coil 3. Thus heat exchange between the cooking object in the pan 1 and the water is accelerated, which can quicken temperature rise in the cooking object. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
