<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic control device capable of realizing higher security than a conventional device. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic control device comprises: a main integrated circuit which is operated by a main clock; and a sub integrated circuit which is communicatively connected with the main integrated circuit and is operated by a sub clock different from the main clock. The sub integrated circuit comprises a clock logic acquisition unit for acquiring clock logic of the sub clock in response to a request from the main integrated circuit and transmitting the acquired clock logic to the main integrated circuit.
