<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display device whose power circuit has high power supply capacity by connecting a plurality of power supply units in parallel without adding a newly designed control circuit. <P>SOLUTION: A plasma display device comprises a plasma display panel, a sustaining pulse generating circuit, a write pulse generating circuit, and a power circuit which supplies power to the sustaining pulse generating circuit and the write pulse generating circuit. The power circuit comprises a plurality of power supply units including a first output having a first voltage as well as a second output having a second voltage. The first output of each of the plurality of power supply units, connected in parallel via a diode, is connected to the sustaining pulse generating circuit. The second outputs of specified power supply units of the plurality of power supply units are not connected to the write pulse generating circuit, and the second outputs of the power supply units other than the specified power supply units are connected to the same. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
