<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealant for a liquid crystal one-drop-fill process, in which the sealant is excellent in storage stability and can almost prevent occurrence of a liquid crystal contamination, and to provide a vertical conducting material and a liquid crystal display element produced by using the sealant for the liquid crystal one-drop-fill process. <P>SOLUTION: A sealant for a liquid crystal one-drop-fill process contains a curable resin containing a resin having a (meth)acryloyloxy group and a resin having an epoxy group, a radical polymerization initiator that generates a radical with light and/or heat, and a hydrazide-based curing agent that is solid at room temperature. In the sealant, 50 wt.% or more of the resin having a (meth)acryloyloxy group is a compound having at least one OH group in one molecule.
