<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter circuit which is capable of suppressing transmission and radiation of switching noise generated in a converter, and to provide a lighting device using the filter circuit. <P>SOLUTION: A filter circuit 43 is provided between a converter 44 and a power source on the input side or a load 42 on the output side of the converter 44. A first inductor L9 is provided on a line on the high potential side. A second inductor L10 is provided on a line on the low potential side.
