<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a latent image pattern formation body including an element for enabling new authenticity determination in addition to a latent image observed on a conventional latent image printed matter when a substrate is observed obliquely, thereby improving anti-counterfeit effect. <P>SOLUTION: On the substrate, a plurality of first elements having concave and/or convex shapes are arranged in a line pattern to form a first pattern, and a plurality of second elements having colors different from the first elements are arranged in a line pattern to form a second pattern. The first elements are used as first latent image elements, second latent image elements and back ground elements in accordance with partial difference of the phase.
