<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device with which slit band plates after slitting are stabilized on the center side of a conveying line without damaging the edges of the band plates and without using a complicated control system and, furthermore, with which stable passing is made possible even during unsteady passing such as passing of the tail end after cutting. <P>SOLUTION: The pinch roll 10 is constituted of a lower roll 12 for supporting the bottom surface of the slit band plate and an upper roll 11 which is brought into contact with the upper surface of the slit band plates and divided in the plate width direction in order to shift the slit band plate to the center side of the line by outside one-side reduction or an inward skew angle for preventing the meandering of the slit band plates S1, S2 which are passed by the pinch roll 10. Further, a center guide device 15 is provided which includes: a center guide 1 for guiding the end faces of the edge parts on the center side of the line of the slit band plates with an interval of >0 to ≤5,000 mm from the upper roll 11 on the upstream side or the downstream side of the pinch roll 10; and a pair of upper and lower rolls 16, 17 for holding and restraining the edge parts of the center side of the line of the slit band plate on both sides. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
