<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of printing an object with a cylindrical side face whereby the cost of equipment is suppressed low and the object can be printed while being conveyed, and to provide an apparatus therefor. <P>SOLUTION: A paint 3 is supplied onto a stretched screen plate 1. The paint 3 is printed on an object 5 with the cylindrical side face through the screen plate 1 by movement of a squeegee 4. The object 5 is moved along the screen plate 1 following the movement of the squeegee 4 and is rotated not to slide to the screen plate 1 in the printing method. The apparatus includes the screen plate 1, a screen plate installation means 2 which stretches the screen plate 1 to be nearly flat, a paint supply means, the squeegee 4, a squeegee driving means, a moving means which moves the object 5 along the screen plate 1, a rotating means which rotates the object 5 around its center axis, and a control part which controls the squeegee driving means, moving means and rotating means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
