<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of toner particles by which a scale deposit produced in a polymerization vessel can be easily and efficiently removed and toner particles can be stably produced in a production of toner by a suspension polymerization method. <P>SOLUTION: The production method of toner particles includes: a granulation step of adding a polymerizable monomer composition containing at least a polymerizable monomer and a colorant to an aqueous medium containing an inorganic dispersion stabilizer and granulating the polymerizable monomer composition in the aqueous medium to form particles of the polymerizable monomer composition; and a polymerization step of polymerizing the polymerizable monomer included in the particles of the polymerizable monomer composition in a polymerization vessel having agitating means to obtain toner particles. The method also includes a cleaning step of feeding an aqueous medium having a pH of 9 or more to the polymerization vessel after finishing the polymerization step and discharging the content of the polymerization vessel, agitating the aqueous medium containing the inorganic dispersion stabilizer, and discharging the medium so as to remove a deposit in the polymerization vessel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
