<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-holding solenoid which can firmly hold a movable iron core even when electrical conduction is terminated after exciting a coil. <P>SOLUTION: A self-holding solenoid 1 comprises: a coil 2; a case 3 in which the coil 2 is incorporated; a fixed iron core 4 provided on an inner peripheral side of the coil 2; a movable iron core 5 which is arranged to face the fixed iron core 4 and slides inside the coil 2; a permanent magnet 6 arranged below the coil 2; a first yoke 7 arranged between the coil 2 and the permanent magnet 6; and a second yoke 8 which is so arranged that the permanent magnet 6 is interposed between itself and the first yoke 7. A distance D2 between an outer peripheral edge 81 of the second yoke 8 and a peripheral wall 33 of the case 3 is made greater than a distance D1 between an outer peripheral edge 71 of the first yoke 7 and the peripheral wall 33 of the case 3, thereby restricting a magnetic flux of the permanent magnet 6 flowing from the case 3 to the second yoke 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
