A miter saw, comprising a base, a worktable for carrying a work piece to be cut, a cutting head pivotally connected to the worktable and positioned in a working position and a stopping position, and a self-hung type working lamp coupled to the cutting head. In one example, a main handle has a rotating pivot on which the self-hung type working lamp is rotatably arranged. The self-hung type working lamp may comprise at least one light source for consistent irradiation of the cutting area upon being powered. The present device further enables the working lamp to rotate with the up and down movement of the cutting head to substantially irradiate the same cutting area to keep the stability of the lighting. It can also achieve the control of the irradiating area with a simple structure and without affecting the overall appearance of the machine. |
