摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively suppress deterioration in engine output due to a reduction in intake amount in a whole operation region regarding a control device for an internal combustion engine which allows performance of the Miller cycle for reducing the compression ratio smaller than the expansion ratio. <P>SOLUTION: A control device 1 for an internal combustion engine 2 allows implementation of the Miller cycle for further delaying or advancing the valve closing timing of an intake valve 2a than the bottom dead center. The control device includes: a turbocharger 20 having a turbine 22 provided in an exhaust passage, and a compressor 21 provided in an intake passage; an electric motor 24 for rotating the turbine 22 and the compressor 21; an intake-air pressure detecting means 50 for detecting the intake-air pressure on the further downstream side than the compressor 21 as actual supercharge pressure; and a drive control means 60 for driving the electric motor 24 when the actual supercharge pressure is smaller than target supercharge pressure required for maintaining the output of the internal combustion engine 2 at a level beyond the prescribed torque. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
