<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that prints an image in the same image aspect ratio as the original image aspect ratio of image data, in the case where the image data has different resolution in a width direction from resolution in a height direction. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 includes: an image data analysis part 33 that specifies resolution in a width direction and resolution in a height direction of image data; and an image conversion part 34 that changes the pixel number of at least one of the width direction and the height direction if the resolution in the width direction and the resolution in the height direction are not identical, and matches image aspect ratio in printing with aspect ratio of the image data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
