<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device for a two-way analog switch which implements satisfactory linearity and low power loss, and provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus that implements high detection accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: In a semiconductor device for a two-way analog switch having a switch circuit capable of being switched on or off in two ways and a drive circuit for the switch circuit therein, the drive circuit is connected to first and second power supplies, a first supply voltage is equal to or higher than a maximum voltage value of signals applied to input/output terminals of the switch circuit, a second supply voltage is equal to or lower than a minimum voltage value of signals applied to the input/output terminals of the switch circuit, and the drive circuit includes a Zener diode and a p-type MOSFET connected in series between the first power supply and the switch circuit.
