<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a polymer solution in which a contained metal component has been thoroughly diminished, by effectively removing a metal component contained in a polymer solution by a highly efficient and simple step. <P>SOLUTION: A method for producing a polymer obtained by removing metal catalyst residue from a crude polymer containing the metal catalyst residue includes a step of bringing into liquid-liquid contact a crude polymer solution in which the crude polymer is dissolved in a solvent and an aprotic polar solvent comprising dimethylsulfoxide, N,N-dimethylformamide, N,N-diethylformamide, N,N-dimethylacetamide, acetonitrile, γ-butyrolactone and/or N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone capable of undergoing liquid-liquid separation from the above solvent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
