<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crankcase of a reciprocating compressor that eliminates the need for a wide work space in the longitudinal direction of the crankcase, and allows an oil header pipe to be installed/removed by comparatively easy work. <P>SOLUTION: In the crankcase of the reciprocating compressor which houses a crank and has therein the oil header pipe having branch pipes 1a to 1e, the oil header pipe 1 prepared in a length shorter than a distance between inner walls of a front surface end cover C1 and a rear surface end cover C2 which are opposed in the longitudinal direction of the crankcase body CO is carried and installed inside from an upper part of the crankcase body CO. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
