<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of a difference in a parameter deciding a correction amount based on brightness information between individual pieces when a gain is changed in accordance with the number of saturation electrons of an imaging element. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: light amount adjusting means for adjusting a light amount of incident light; an image sensor converting image-forming light into an electric signal; amplification means amplifying output of the image sensor; saturation adjusting means adjusting a signal level so that a representative value of the saturation levels of respective pixels in an output signal of the image sensor becomes constant between the individuals; brightness information correcting means generating brightness information of the subject by using a state of the light amount control means, a state of the amplification means and an output signal level of the image sensor and correcting the information; and camera signal processing means performing a signal processing on the input signal. The brightness information correcting means corrects the brightness information generated in brightness information generating means based on an adjustment value of the saturation adjusting means and performs camera signal processing by using the brightness information corrected by the brightness information correcting means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
