<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor of a rotary electric machine, whose weight can be reduced, and to provide the rotary electric machine. <P>SOLUTION: The rotor includes: a rotor core 21; and a plurality of permanent magnets 22 disposed so as to be arranged on the rotor core 21 in a circumferential direction thereof.
