<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a further reduction in time for accelerated rotation of a turbocharger. <P>SOLUTION: A turbocharger 11 comprises a turbine housing 12, a compressor housing 13, a center housing 14 and a support wall 15 interposed between the center housing 14 and turbine housing 12. A speed increasing gear mechanism 21 is provided to the inner end surface of the support wall 15. A solenoid clutch 30 is provided coaxially with a rotary shaft 16. Rotational driving force of an internal combustion engine is inputted into the speed increasing gear mechanism 21 through a belt 35, a driven pulley 34, a drive shaft 31 and a drive gear 38. When the solenoid clutch 30 is magnetized (coupled), output rotation of the speed increasing gear mechanism 21 is transmitted to the rotary shaft 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
