PURPOSE: A graphene-coated steel sheet and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to ensure high heat resistance of a steel sheet from the thermal stability of graphene and prevent defects or impurities. CONSTITUTION: A graphene-coated steel sheet comprises a steel sheet(11) and a graphene layer(18). The graphene layer is formed on the steel sheet. A method for manufacturing the graphene-coated steel sheet comprises the steps of: cleaning the surface of a steel sheet using inert gas ion(13) in a vacuum container, heating the cleaned steel sheet, and injecting hydrocarbon(17) in the vacuum container to be dissolved and adsorbed on the steel sheet, thereby forming a graphene layer on the steel sheet.
