SSR PRIMER DERIVED FROM CYMBIDIUM SPP. AND USE THEREOF

PURPOSE: An SSR primer isolated from Cymbidium sp. plant is provided to effectively detect DNA polymorphism and to make DNA profile. CONSTITUTION: An SSR(simple sequence repeat) primer pair has two base sequences selected from sequence numbers 1-28. The SSR primer pair is derived from Cymbidium spp. A method for identifying species of cymbidium sp. plant comprises: a step of isolating genome DNA from the plant; a step of performing PCR using the SSR primer pair and genome DNA as a template; and a step of isolating PCR products by size. A kit for detecting the DNA polymorphism of the plant contains the SSR primer pair.
