PURPOSE: A vacuum window and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent destroy of vacuum of the vacuum window by reinforcing sealing of hollow portion. CONSTITUTION: A vacuum window(100) comprises 2 plate glasses(110) which form hollow portions(111), an air outlet(112) which is formed in one side of the plate glass in order to absorb air inside the hollow portion, and a first sealing portion which prevents inflow of the air through the air outlet. The first ceiling portion comprises molten-solution filling member, a first holder, and a first cap. One end of the molten-solution filling member is supported by one side of the plate glass, and the other side of the molten-solution filling member is inserted into the air outlet. The first holder comprises a first supporting portion which is supported by inner circumference of the air outlet and a first fitting portion which sticks to outer circumference of the molten-solution filling member. The end part of the first cap is settled in the first settling portion, and the first cap includes molten-solution injecting hole.
