<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle drive system capable of suppressing vibration generated when a clutch is switched from an open state to an engagement state upon the restart of an engine during eco-run travel. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle drive system 1 performs eco-run control for stopping an engine 2 when a prescribed engine stop condition is satisfied while a vehicle travels and for restarting the engine 2 when a prescribed engine restart condition is satisfied. The vehicle drive system 1 includes: a transmission 5 for speed changing the drive force from the engine 2 and outputting it; a clutch 4 allowing the drive force to be transmitted from the engine 2 to the transmission 5 in an engagement state and interrupting it in an open state; and a control device 7 controlling the transmission 5 and the clutch 4. The control device 7 performs gear ratio increasing control for increasing a gear ratio γ of the transmission 5 while the vehicle travels and when the engine stop condition is satisfied to switch the clutch 4 from the engagement state to the open state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
