<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil holding structure which is excellent in vibration resistance. <P>SOLUTION: A coil holding structure 1 according to this invention includes a mounting substrate 3, a coil 2 having a pedestal part 10 fixed on the mounting substrate 3 and a coil body part 11 provided on the pedestal part 10, and a case 4 housing the mounting substrate 3 and the coil 2. The case 4 has substrate fixing means 6 fixing the mounting substrate 3 and a lid part 7 covering the coil body part 11, and the coil 2 further has a support part 12 extending from the coil body part 11 toward a lid 7 of the case 4.
