<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interchangeable lens capable of reducing the amount of MTF characteristic data, and a camera body. <P>SOLUTION: An interchangeable lens 200 comprises: a lens mount 201 to which a camera body 100 is attached so as to be detachable; an imaging optical system 210 having a diaphragm 211 and configured such that a focal distance is variable from a first focal distance to a second focal distance; and a lens-side control unit 203 configured to transmit MTF characteristic data, which indicates the MTF characteristics of the imaging optical system 210, to the camera body 100. The MTF characteristic data are a plurality of MTF values corresponding to a combination of three focal distances, a combination of two F values, and a combination of three image height positions. The three focal distances are the first focal distance, the second focal distance, and an intermediate value. The two F values are an open F value for the optical system 210, and F values other than the open F value. The three image height positions are a position near an optical axis of the imaging optical system 210, a position of the end of an angle of view, and an intermediate position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
