<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner capable of stably holding a BD mirror while achieving miniaturization. <P>SOLUTION: An optical scanner includes: a light source; a deflector deflecting a light beam emitted from the light source; a BD sensor detecting a timing of starting scanning a face to be scanned by the light beam deflected by the deflector; and a BD mirror 29 reflecting the light beam to guide the light beam to the BD sensor, in a casing 21. In the optical scanner, both ends of a reflection face of the BD mirror 29 are received by two high and low ribs 21A and 21B formed on the casing 21, and projecting parts of a leaf spring 32 press a part of the reflection face of the BD mirror 29 lower than a line connecting the tips of the ribs 21A and 21B at the both ends of the rear surfaces of the reflection face of the BD mirror 29, thereby holding the BD mirror 29 in the casing 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
