<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester film roll and a method of manufacturing the same of which a coating layer has excellent refractive index and thickness evenness, and which exhibits excellent stability and productivity. <P>SOLUTION: The polyester film roll is formed by winding a laminated polyester film in a roll shape, wherein the laminated polyester film is formed by laminating the coating layer on at least one surface of a base material polyester film. In a section obtained from an optional position of the roll, surface reflectivity at wavelengths 400-700 nm of a surface on the coating layer side measured at total nine points which are combination of three points in a width direction and three points in a longitudinal direction satisfies the following at the above nine measurement points when a wavelength with minimum reflectivity is λmin and reflectivity at λmin is Rmin. (1) λmin is in a range of 500-600 nm. (2) Rmin is 4.0-6.0%. (3) Among the λmin of the above nine measurement points, a difference between a maximum value of λmin (a value of the longest wavelength among the nine measurement points) and a minimum value (a value of the shortest wavelength among the nine measurement points) is 30 nm or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
