<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set the frequency of irradiating ultrasound according to the distance to an irradiation target position. <P>SOLUTION: An ultrasound irradiation apparatus 100 has a frequency selecting data memory 210 storing the relation an advancing distance, a frequency, and an attenuation rate of the ultrasound. The frequency selector 140 selects the frequency of the ultrasound irradiated from the ultrasound generating source 110 based on the relation of the transmitting distance and the frequency and the heat generation quantity of the ultrasound stored in the frequency selecting data memory 210 according to the irradiation target position of the ultrasound input from an input device 160. The controller 120 calculates the voltage applied to the ultrasound generating source 110 based on the frequency selected by the frequency selector 140 and the voltage is corrected by the correcting calculator 122. The drive device 130 drives the ultrasound generating source 110 and causes the ultrasound generating source 110 to irradiate the ultrasound under the control of the controller 120 based on the corrected voltage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
