The circular alpha-cyclosophorooctadecaose is represented by chemical formula 1. The circular alpha-cyclosophorooctadecaose is derived from Rhodobacter. Sphaeroides. The separation method using the composition includes a circular alpha-cyclosophorooctadecaose adding process. The circular alpha-cyclosophorooctadecaose functions as a chiral additive. The flavones are naringenin, hesperitin, eriodictyol, homoeriodicytol, or isosakuranetin. The derivative of the flavones is flavones-7-O-glycoside.
