PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing an effective microorganism fermenting carrier is provided to reduce the generation of sludge and improve the quality of water based on dissolved organic carbon. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing an effective microorganism fermenting carrier includes the following: Kaolin, Zeolite, Vermiculite, and activated carbon are dried and mixed in the ratio of 5:5:1:0.5 in order to obtain a mixture. Effective microorganism activating liquid is mixed with the mixture under a wet condition. A shaped carrier is obtained by shaping the mixture. The shaped carrier is fermented and sintered.
