<p>A pallet system 50 comprises a bunded pallet 10 and a demountable fence 52. The pallet 10 has a base 12 5 configured to receive members of a lifting apparatus enabling the pallet to be lifted by the base. The fence 52 has a sidewall structure 53 and a gate 56.
