<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image processor estimating the noise of medical image data. <P>SOLUTION: The medical image processor includes difference calculation means, removal means, first statistical processing means, and estimation means. The difference calculation means receives a plurality of pieces of medical image data having different positions wherein photography is performed, and generates differential image data showing the differences by obtaining differences between the plurality of pieces of medical image data. The removal means removes areas corresponding to structures from the differential image data. The first statistical processing means obtains a first standard deviation for the pixel values of respective pixels of the differential image data from which the areas corresponding to the structures have been removed.
