<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the possibility that a liquid supply tube is damaged by contact of the liquid supply tube in a cartridge mounting portion with a case of the liquid cartridge or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The cartridge mounting portion of a liquid consumption apparatus includes: the liquid supply tube where the liquid cartridge is connected to a liquid supply port in a state that the liquid cartridge is mounted on the cartridge mounting portion; and an elastic seal member that is provided around the liquid supply tube and seals an end portion of the liquid supply port. The elastic seal member has a part projecting closer to the end portion of the liquid supply tube than a sealed position between the elastic seal member and the end portion of the liquid supply port. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
