<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing sintered ore, capable of improving the yield of sintered ore by improving ventilation characteristic. <P>SOLUTION: In the method of manufacturing sintered ore by charging a sintered raw material containing powder coke and granulated by granulators 10, 11 in a pseudo manner onto a sintering pallet 13 followed by sintering, a coarse particle portion B containing 90 mass% or more of powder coke having particle size of 1 mm or more of the powder coke is added on the downstream side of the granulator 11. The surface of the coarse particle portion B is covered with steel making slag fine powder containing a CaO component system.
