<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bag with a butt seam capable of satisfying requirements such as the easiness of taking out contents, the avoidance of a complicated manufacturing process, and the prevention of waste in resources. <P>SOLUTION: A bag 11 has a gusset 14 sandwiched between a front component 12 and a rear component 13 at both sides of the bag where ends of both components 12 and 13 face each other indirectly across the gusset 14. One of the front component 12 and the rear component 13 has an abutting seam 15 on its outer face.
