PURPOSE: A data processing apparatus, a method thereof, and a data skew compensating method by using an ECC(Error Check Code) reduce data coding or unnecessary signal transmission by using a transition bit. CONSTITUTION: A CRC generating unit(112) generates CRC(Cyclic Redundancy Check) information from first data. A data transmitting unit(113) combines the CRC information with the first data and transmits second data. If the first data has a first pattern, a bit of the CRC information is toggled from the first data. A register supplies control information.
